Our Activities
Barasat Institute of Social ActivityChild development with slum children
Barasat Institute of Social Activity (BISA) has been dedicated to the development of children in the slums of Hatkhola, Indira Colony, Parichran Sarkar Colony, and Ambedkar Colony for the past nine years. BISA’s child development programs focus on providing essential services, including healthcare, nutrition, and education, to underprivileged children. These programs also emphasize life skills training, such as communication and problem-solving, to prepare children for future challenges. By creating a safe and supportive environment for children to thrive, BISA is enabling them to break the cycle of poverty and realize their full potential.
Awareness on domestic violence
In addition to child development, Barasat Institute of Social Activity (BISA) is also involved in raising awareness against domestic violence. Domestic violence is a serious issue that affects millions of people worldwide, including women, children, and men. BISA recognizes the need to address this problem and has been working to raise awareness and educate the community about the dangers of domestic violence.
BISA’s awareness programs aim to educate individuals about their rights and provide them with the necessary resources to seek help if they experience domestic violence. The organization also works with local authorities to ensure that cases of domestic violence are reported and properly addressed.
