Barasat Institute of Social Activity

Barasat Institute of Social Activity (BISA) has dedicated thirteen years towards child development in the Hatkhola slums under the Barasat Municipality of North 24 Parganas. At BISA, we strongly believe in creating a dynamic civil society that implements fundamental rights at all levels by changing society’s behavior. In addition to child development, BISA also provides WASH, RCH, Environment, and Legal Aid services to underprivileged individuals.

Our child development programs, human rights advocacy, and community development initiatives have touched the lives of many individuals and families in Barasat. As we look ahead, we are committed to continuing our work to empower individuals and communities. We will continue to work towards creating a more equitable and sustainable society, and we will strive to provide support to those who need it most.
